The role of a risk manager is challenging – they often have to stay up to date with many different industries and regions. For our bank client, that means spending a lot of time monitoring relevant news on hundreds of companies to identify trends and resulting risks for their loan portfolios. To help combat this, we developed a personalized AI solution that collects relevant information from local news sources in an easy-to-digest format.
Our AI reads, summarizes, and assesses thousands of news articles daily to provide risk managers with the most relevant news available.

Challenge
As news is scattered all across the web, it’s hard for risk managers to stay on top of everything. Instead of wasting time manually researching, identifying, and reading dozens of irrelevant news articles, we investigated ways to improve this process. After sitting down with our client and future users, we identified user pain points and requirements for an MVP.
